Enhanced Books Mod for Minecraft 1.5.2/1.5.1 The Minecraft wiki
Minecraft is a sandbox gaming formerly created by Swedish game developer Markus "Notch" Persson, and developed and printed by Mojang later. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft permit players to construct constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally produced world. Alternative activities in the overall game include exploration, tool gathering, crafting, and fight. Multiple gameplay settings are available, including survival mode where the player must acquire resources to create the global world and maintain health, a creative setting where players have unlimited resources to create with and the ability to fly, an adventure setting where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator function where players can travel around and clip through blocks, but cannot place or kill any. The Computer version of the game is noted for its modding scene, in which a dedicated community creates new gameplay mechanics, items, and assets for the overall game.Minecraft received reward from critics after release, and earned numerous awards and accolades. As of June 2016, over 106 million copies have been sold across all platforms, with more than 40 million unique players every month, making it the best-selling PC game as of yet and the second best-selling video game ever, only behind the various releases of Tetris. In 2014 September, Microsoft announced a deal to buy Mojang and the Minecraft intellectual property for US$2.5 billion, with the acquisition being completed 8 weeks later.

Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that does not have any specific goals for the ball player to accomplish, allowing players plenty of independence in choosing how to play the gameHowever, there can be an achievement system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to play in third person method. The core gameplay revolves around putting and breaking blocks. The game world comprises rough 3D objects--mainly cubes--arranged in a set grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move widely across the world, objects can only be placed at preset locations on the grid. Players can collect these material blocks and place them in other places, thus allowing for various constructions. In the beginning of the game, the player is placed on the top of the procedurally made and almost infinite game world. The world is split into biomes ranging from deserts to jungles to snowfield. Players can walk across the terrain comprising plains, mountains, forests, caves, and various water bodies. The in-game time system uses a complete day and night cycle, with one full pattern prolonged 20 real-time minutes. Throughout the course of the overall game, players come across various non-player personas known as mobs, including pets, villagers and hostile animals. Non-hostile animals--such as cows, pigs, and chickens--can be hunted for food and crafting materials, and spawn in the daytime. By contrast, hostile mobs--such as large spiders, skeletons, and zombies--spawn during nighttime or in dark places, such as caves. Some Minecraft-unique animals have been mentioned by reviewers, such as the Creeper, an exploding creature that sneaks through to the player; and the Enderman, a creature with the ability to teleport and grab blocks.
