Minecraft is a sandbox video game formerly created by Swedish game creator Markus "Notch" Persson, and developed and released by Mojang later. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat. Multiple gameplay settings are available, including survival mode where the player must acquire resources to construct the global world and maintain health, a creative function where players have unlimited resources to generate with and the ability to fly, an experience method where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator setting where players can soar around and clip through blocks, but cannot place or kill any.
