Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that does not have any specific goals for the participant to accomplish, allowing players plenty of liberty in choosing how to learn the gameHowever, there can be an achievement system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to learn in third person method. The core gameplay revolves around placing and breaking blocks. The game world is composed of rough 3D objects--mainly cubes--arranged in a set grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move across the world freely, objects can only be placed at set locations on the grid. Players can collect these materials place and blocks them in other places, allowing for various constructions thus.In the beginning of the game, the participant is located on the top of the procedurally generated and almost infinite game world. The entire world is split into biomes which range from deserts to jungles to snowfield. Players can walk across the terrain consisting of plains, mountains, forests, caves, and different water bodies. The in-game time system employs a full day and night pattern, with one full circuit prolonged 20 real-time minutes. Through the entire course of the game, players encounter various non-player character types known as mobs, including pets or animals, villagers and hostile creatures. Non-hostile animals--such as cows, pigs, and chickens--can be hunted for crafting and food materials, and spawn in the day time.
