Minecraft is a sandbox video game originally created by Swedish game developer Markus "Notch" Persson, and developed and printed by Mojang later. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft enable players to make constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally produced world. Alternative activities in the overall game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and battle. Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that does not have any specific goals for the gamer to perform, allowing players a great amount of liberty in choosing how to try out the gameHowever, there is an accomplishment system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the choice to try out in third person method. The core gameplay revolves around placing and breaking blocks. The overall game world comprises rough 3D objects--mainly cubes--arranged in a fixed grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move widely across the world, objects can only just be placed at preset locations on the grid. In comparison, hostile mobs--such as large spiders, skeletons, and zombies--spawn during nighttime or in dark places, such as caves. Some Minecraft-unique creatures have been mentioned by reviewers, like the Creeper, an exploding creature that sneaks through to the participant; and the Enderman, a creature having the ability to teleport and pick up blocks.
