Alternative activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and fight. Multiple gameplay modes are available, including survival mode where the player must acquire resources to generate the global world and keep maintaining health, a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to create with and the capability to fly, an trip setting where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator setting where players can take flight around and clip through blocks, but cannot place or eliminate any. The Computer version of the overall game is noted because of its modding scene, where a dedicated community creates new gameplay technicians, items, and possessions for the overall game.Minecraft received reward from critics upon release, and received numerous accolades and prizes.
