Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that does not have any specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a great amount of independence in choosing how to experiment with the gameHowever, there can be an success system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to play in third person method. The core gameplay revolves around placing and breaking blocks. The game world is composed of rough 3D objects--mainly cubes--arranged in a fixed grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move across the world freely, objects can only be put at resolved locations on the grid. Players can gather these materials place and blocks them anywhere else, allowing for various constructions thus.In the very beginning of the game, the player is put on the surface of a procedurally produced and nearly infinite game world. The globe is split into biomes which range from deserts to jungles to snowfield. Players can walk across the terrain consisting of plains, mountains, forests, caves, and different water bodies. The in-game time system follows a night and day pattern, with one full cycle sustained 20 real-time minutes. Through the entire course of the game, players encounter various non-player personas known as mobs, including animals, villagers and hostile animals. Non-hostile animals--such as cows, pigs, and chickens--can be hunted for crafting and food materials, and spawn in the day time. In comparison, hostile mobs--such as large spiders, skeletons, and zombies--spawn during nighttime or in dark places, such as caves. Some Minecraft-unique animals have been noted by reviewers, like the Creeper, an exploding creature that sneaks up on the gamer; and the Enderman, a creature having the ability to teleport and grab blocks.
